Mountain View Meadow

This place is great! Set up on a hill with a nice mountain and vineyard view. It was easy to find, clean as could be, and within 10 minutes of more wineries and breweries than you could count. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place and Julie more than 5 stars I would!! Felt very comfortable and at home. We had a very special family occasion to attend. After long days it was great to come back to house and relax!!

This was my third time staying at this house, I love it so much. It’s really convenient to all the vineyards and breweries, and when you get up to the house, it’s super peaceful. We love it!

Sweet, comfortable, modern cottage for two with a beautiful vineyard view. It’s a short drive off the Nelson 151 brew & vineyard trail, and a pleasant drive to many of the area’s outdoor destinations. Would definitely book again.

Awesome spot for a weekend getaway. You feel like you're lost out in the mountains, but just over 30 minutes to everything Charlottesville and the surrounding area. Julie was a great host with good communication. We would absolutely stay here again!

Julie’s place was perfect for a 4 night retreat from NoVA. My wife and I went to UVA so we were familiar with the area, but even if you aren’t, the house is located right within the wine/ale trail, so there is a lot to do within 10 minutes. The house was cozy, secluded and spotless, and we would definitely recommend it.

My wife surprised me with this airbnb rental for my April 9th birthday in 2023 and I liked it so much that I have made it an annual event. This is my third April birthday week stay and my fourth visit as we came down last October 2024 to see the leaves changing colors. As usual, our stay was great. The house and contents are in the same condition every time we have stayed here which shows its upkeep is important to our hosts. There is so much to do around the local area as well as venturing out to the surrounding areas too. This house is located on a private drive and it is secluded enough to feel you have enough privacy but without being too far out from civilization. The views, constant wildlife and peacefulness make sitting on the front deck a joy as long as the weather cooperates. We are planning return visits in the near future and will continue coming to this house as long as it is available. Thank you again Julie.

Julie’s home was just as described, very spacious and private. We had a couples’ weekend scheduled but because of an illness, my wife and I had the whole place to ourselves and made the best of it.

julie was wonderful! Communication was thoughtful and timely. the location was perfectly nestled between rolling vineyards/orchards and woods. Lovely. The farmhouse style home is beautiful and spacious, with all the desired amenities. Would love to stay again!
